Tapas & Tails: The Onion Ring Rebellion with an Americano

Hosted by Tim MaddamsDevon, UK

Friday 21st August - 18:00

About this class

Join us to celebrate our Friday evenings by marking the end of the week with a homemade cocktail and snack, but why would you do that alone with an average drink and a mediocre snack!? Tapas and Tails is the perfect way to kickstart your weekend, with an outstanding drink, snack and some great foodie chat. This week's class: This week we're making onion rings, as a direct rebellion against those awful onion rings that you might have experienced in a pub. This is one of my favourite forms of tapas and you'll be surprised by how fresh, sweet, crunchy and delicious proper onion rings can be. I'll show you how to create a complimentary spicy seasoning to go with the tapas. These are perfectly served with an Americano cocktail and a dose of the Friday feeling.

What you will learn

These sessions are designed to share tips and tricks which bring simple but delicious food together and create a great Friday evening experience while still in the comfort of our own homes. You will walk away with techniques on how to combine ingredients to create fresh and wonderful onion rings. In addition, you add an Americano to your repertoire of cocktails.

Another brilliant Friday evening! Those onion rings were better than anything we had ever tasted and the Americano not too potent compared to previous weeks. I'll definitely be joining again next week - it's such a fun way to round off the week.
