About this class

Throughout the summer​​,​ we are easing into the weekend with some early Friday evening fun​​,​ creating a Tapas and Cocktail. This week we will create a Pizzetta d'estate Tapa and a Negroni Tail

What you will learn

These sessions are designed to share tips and tricks which bring simple but delicious food together and create a great Friday evening experience while still in the comfort of our own homes.

Servings : (serves 1 - 2)

Tapa - Pizzetta d'estate For the dough - 1g activated dried yeast - 200g strong white flour - 100g water - pinch of salt For the topping - 50g fresh mozzarella - a few slices of courgette - a few fresh cherry tomatoes (chopped) - garlic 1 clove​,​ well chopped - a few leaves of basil - a sprig of thyme whatever herbs you have in the garden - chilli optional - olive oil best you can manage - a few slices of air dried ham or salami (optional) Tail - Negroni - 2 shots gin - 1 shot Campari ​/​ Aperol - 1 shot sweet vermouth (Martini rosso) - orange zest and a slice of orange - ice

Equipment needed

- a baking tray - a glass for the cocktail

Special instructions

If you want to make the dough in advance. Work the yeast​,​ flour​,​ water and salt into a smooth dough and leave to prove for an hour. We will do this in the class also​,​ so don't worry if you don't do it in advance.
