Join us to celebrate our Friday evenings by marking the end of the week with a homemade cocktail and snack​​​​,​​​​ but why would you do that alone with an average drink and a mediocre snack!? Tapas and Tails is the perfect way to kickstart your weekend​​​​,​​​​ with an outstanding drink​​​​,​​​​ snack and some great foodie chat.

What you will learn

These sessions are designed to share tips and tricks which bring simple​​,​ seasonal and delicious food together and create a great Friday evening experience while still in the comfort of our own homes. You will walk away with techniques on how to combine ingredients to create fresh and wonderful Miso Marinated Chicken Skewers along with a White Lady Cocktail.

Servings : (1 - 2 servings)

Miso Marinated chicken skewers​,​ soy dip: 100g chicken breast or thigh meat​,​ cut into little finger thick strips 20ml warm water 20g dark miso paste A little Chinese 5 spice or even 7 spice Skewers Soy Sauce: 2 table spoons dark soy sauce 1 table spoon light brown sugar ½ clove garlic To garnish: A sheet or two of nori seaweed if you have it Toasted sesame seeds Chopped spring onions White lady gin cocktail: 2 Part gin 1 Part Cointraiu 1 Part Lemon juice lemon zest ice

Equipment needed

griddle a martini glass cocktail shaker (if you have one)

Special instructions

This is a fun social class​,​ we will cook together​,​ make a cocktail together and mosts importantly have fun as we welcome the weekend. So​,​ come prepared to have some fun on zoom with others from around the country.

    A fun way to start the weekend. Easy to book onto the session, clear list of ingredients & equipment required. A first time for me using Miso paste & will be using it again. Picked up some great cooking tips too.Cocktail refreshing & chicken skewers tasty. Will be making both again.

    Brilliant “happy hour “ last night making a White Lady, Gin, Cointreau, Lemon what’s not to like! I will certainly make the miso chicken again it was delicious and so easy. Looking forward to next week already Tim.
