About this class

Join us to celebrate our Friday evenings by marking the end of the week with a homemade cocktail and snack​​​,​​​ but why would you do that alone with an average drink and a mediocre snack!? Tapas and Tails is the perfect way to kickstart your weekend​​​,​​​ with an outstanding drink​​​,​​​ snack and some great foodie chat. Devilled eggs are a classic of the cold trolly and a real treasure. Whilst it may not be so trendy these days it is well worth re-visiting.

What you will learn

These sessions are designed to share tips and tricks which bring simple​,​ seasonal and delicious food together and create a great Friday evening experience while still in the comfort of our own homes. You will walk away with techniques on how to combine ingredients to create fresh and wonderful devilled eggs. In addition​​​,​​​ you add a Bloody Mary to your repertoire of cocktails.

Servings : (1 - 2 servings)

Tapa - Devilled eggs - 3 medium eggs - a little mayonnaise - ½ clove very finely chopped garlic - 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper ​/​ harissa paste - fresh cress - 2 anchovy fillets - salt - a little fresh parsley - a pinch of celery salt Tail Bloody mary - 3 shots of vodka - a dash of good red wine - lots of ice - 1 cup of tomato juice - dash Worchester sauce or Henderson’s relish - dash Tobasco - black pepper and Celery salt.

Equipment needed

- pot to boil eggs - glass (x 2) - lots of ice
