Did you know that Persian cuisine has the capability to satisfy any taste?! Even picky eaters? Persian foods are certainly unrivalled for their delicious​,​ mouth-watering aromas. Join me for the ever-popular Tuesday cook along where together we will make: - Kabob Koobideh (Grilled minced meat Kabob) - Yoghurt and Saffron Tahdig (Persian steamed rice with a crispy bottom ) - Cacik (Yogurt with cucumber garlic and dill)

I will share some cheffy tips while teaching you how to create this wonderful meal.

Servings : serves 2

- 200g beef mince - 200g lamb mince (you can use any mince you like but these are the most traditional) - 1 white onion - 6 cloves of garlic - ½ cucumber - ½ pack dill - 1 green pepper - 10 cherry tomatoes - Salad leaves - 500ml Good quality Greek yoghurt - unsalted butter - 1 egg - sumac - turmeric - saffron - black pepper - salt - basmati or jasmine Rice (approx. 200g)

Equipment needed

- non-Stick pot or small frying pan for rice with a lid - griddle pan​,​ frying pan​,​ tray for grill - skewers for meat - grater
