200g sirloin or rump steak 250g cornflour seasoned with 1⁄2 teaspoon salt and 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper a thumb-size piece of ginger 3 garlic cloves 2 fresh bird’s-eye chillies 1 green pepper 4 Spring onions a large handful of coriander vegetable oil​,​ for frying MARINADE Sesame oil Honey Light soy sauce 1 egg SAUCE Dark soy sauce Tomato ketchup Chinkiang black rice vinegar Honey EGG FRIED RICE 1 bag of white microwave rice 2 Eggs Sesame Oil Light Soy Sauce SPRING ROLLS 100g Rice noodles ​/​ bag of ready cooked from chilled section 1 tsp vegetable​/​ rapeseed oil for frying 2.5cm piece fresh ginger 2 garlic cloves​,​ Vegetable Stir Fry Mix from the chilled section in a supermarket (alternatively you can slice cabbage​,​ onions​,​ grate carrot​,​ add beansprouts) 1 red chilli​,​ 1tsp White Pepper 1tbsp Light Soy Sauce 6 filo pastry sheets​,​ cut in half to make 12 x 23cm x 12.5cm rectangles 1 medium free-range egg​,​

Deep Fryer​/​ wok​/​ pot big enough to deep fry in Non Stick Frying Pan Large Frying pan​/​ wok Baking Tray Baking Parchment Pastry Brush

Special instructions

If you freeze your steaks 30 mins before the lesson they will be easier to slice!

    Wow what an amazing lesson! It was a whirlwind extravaganza learnt so much and had a great time. Jazzi is a great teacher and the food was exceptional!
